Sunday: 8 AM - 2 PM
Monday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Tuesday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM - 8 PM
Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Saturday: 8 AM - 6 PM

Sunday: Closed
Monday: 10 AM - 6 PM

Wednesday: 12 PM - 8 PM
Thursday: 10 AM - 6 PM

How long does it take to get the Open Water Diver certification?

What gear does SMD rent?

We rent regulators, non air-integrated computers, BCD's, weights, full (3mm and 5mm) and shorty wetsuits (3mm), tanks (AL80's air or nitrox), masks and fins. We don't rent, boots, snorkels, or octo necklaces.

What certification agencies do you use?

We primarily use PADI, but also teach TDI and SDI courses.

What do I need to do to dive at Gray Quarry?

The Gray Quarry is open 24/7.
To be on property, you must fill out a liability waiver (a new waiver is required every year).
Daily entry fee is $15. This may be paid at Smoky Mountain Divers and we will provide your entry wristband.
Annual passes are also available upon request.
