Philadelphia Quarry

We'll drive about 15 miles beyond the I-40/I-75 split in West Knoxville to dive Philadelphia Quarry (I-75 Exit 68). The quarry offers real bathroom and changing rooms, 70'-90' visibility, and is very reasonably priced at $12 per day. Each diver pays the $12 entry fee as we enter the dive site area. Diving during the weekdays generally gives us the quarry pretty much to ourselves, but of course most people don't have to take the day off to dive on Saturdays.
Barry and Steve will fix lunch Saturday. Bring something to drink. This makes a very nice day of diving within a reasonable distance (day-trip) of theTri-Cities area. For the Quarry Dives on Friday, meet at the diveshop by 11:00AM so we can be ready to leave by 12:00 Noon, or meet us at the quarry by 2:00PM. Saturday we will meet at the Quarry at 9:00AM since most folks will be spending the night Friday at a local Motel.
All you need to do is call or e-mail us for a reservation, pick-up your scuba gear, pay for your specific level of certification, and We're Ready to Rock !
