The Thrill Of Diving!
It's difficult to explain the thrill of Scuba Diving or the comfortable, peaceful feeling a diver experiences when in a weightless state underwater. As you glide slowly over the tropical reef watching the ballet of thousands of beautifully colored marine creatures, you're immersed in a spirit of inner space that is nearly overwhelming and beckons you to stay.
The water is warm and clear as you search for that "perfect shot" with your underwater camera. Then you realize you've moved to the edge of the reef...to the wall, where the bottom drops thousands of feet into wonderful blue infinity. Your first emotion screams, "I'm Fal__...I'm Fal__... I'm Flying" through this magnificent liquid universe!
Then sometimes you get so comfortable that, just for a couple of seconds, you no longer feel that you're underwater at all. It's then when you realize, it seems you could reach out and touch the face of God!

The "Island Hop " will be Honolulu, Majuro(Marshall Islands), Kwajalein, Kosrae, Ponape, Truk(Chuuk).

All you need to bring is a winning attitude, a bathing suit and a towel. We will provide the equipment you need for your "Try Scuba" experience, and Certified Scuba Instructor to conduct your session. If you decide that scuba "is about the coolest thing you've ever done" and sign-up for certification classes, we credit your $25 "Try Scuba" fee towards your SSI Open Water Scuba Course. Dive "Philly" Quarry

"Philly" GPS: 2667 Harris Road, Philadelphia, TN 37846
Join Barry and Steve Friday and Saturday at Philadelphia Quarry just south of Knoxville for 2 days of scuba training fun. We will meet at the quarry at 2:00 pm and will make 2-3 dives. We will begin again Saturday at 9:00 am and make another 2-3 dives to complete your certification requirements.
Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Local area motels range in price from $40-$50 in Athens. That is cheaper and much more convenient than driving back home. Contact the scuba shop at (423)239-7333 to sign up.
Trip/certification price for students is $200 plus $24 for two days of quarry entrance fee. Certified diver cost is $12 per day and $5 for lunch on Saurday.

We are hosting back-to-back dive trips to Truk Lagoon and Palau. The
Truk trip is almost Full, but We have booked the liveaboard "Palau
Aggressor" for September 16-23, (the week after Truk). We have
9 Deposits for the "Palau Aggressor". This is SMD's 2nd Palau trip.
The "Rock Islands" of Palau are Beautiful and offer, without a
doubt, some of the prettiest diving in the world. If You've Always
Wanted to Dive Palau's "Jellyfish Lake", "German Channel", "Chandler's
Cave", "Blue Corner", and the Wrecks of Palau . . .this trip is for You!
